The San Diego Service Jam is an immersive, 48-hour experience where participants from all backgrounds come together to solve real-world challenges using service design and design thinking. As part of the Global Service Jam, this event connects more than 100 cities worldwide, all focused on designing and prototyping meaningful solutions within a single weekend.
Sailors Coffee Company™ is proud to keep the creativity flowing by providing hot, specialty-grade coffee for throughout the San Diego Service Jam. Whether it’s our bold Scallywag Blend, smooth Windward Galley Blend, or the powerhouse First Mate Amelia Gaoth’s 6-Bean Espresso, our coffee will help ensure that Jammers stay energized and ready to innovate. Over 11 gallons of coffee was served, providing the #CreativeFuel for the Jammers.
What is the San Diego Service Jam?
The San Diego Service Jam is an exciting event designed to bring together designers, artists, business professionals, students, and community members to develop and prototype new service concepts. Over the course of 48 hours, participants engage in:
Hands-on design challenges to create impactful community solutions
Flash talks from design leaders sharing insights and inspiration
Coaching sessions with experienced mentors
Collaborative teamwork, rapid prototyping, and creative problem-solving
At the end of the Jam, participants will have designed, prototyped, and published a brand-new service concept—all fueled by great coffee and even greater ideas.
